Pick Contest Prize Winners

The platform allows you to pick the Contest Prize winner(s) manually, or you can have the platform randomly pick the winner(s).

A Member is eligible to win a Contest Reward if they have redeemed the necessary Metrics to claim the Reward, and if their Redemption (i.e., Reward Response) is currently in a Pending status. Please note that only Members who have redeemed the Reward are eligible; a Member who was granted the Reward for free as an Award is not eligible.

Manually Pick Prize Winner

To manually pick the Prize winner(s):

  1. Select Rewards from the top navigation bar, then select Rewards > Rewards from the side navigation menu. The Rewards screen is displayed.

  2. Search for and select the desired Reward (see Search for a Reward for more information on the available search options). The Reward Details screen is displayed, with the Definition tab selected by default.

  3. Within the Definition tab, click the Prizes section to expand it.

  4. From the drop-down menu in the Action column, select Manually Pick Winners. The Edit Prize pop-up window is displayed.

  1. In the Response Winners field, enter all or part of the Member’s name, then select them from the search results. Repeat this step if necessary to select additional winners.

  2. Click Save. The Member is awarded the Prize, and their name appears within the Prize summary on the Definition tab.

Randomly Pick Prize Winner

Pick Winner for One Prize

You can have the platform randomly pick the winner(s) of a specified Prize. If a Prize can have multiple winners, the platform will automatically pick as many winners as remain. For example, if a Prize can have three winners, and one has already been selected, the platform will pick the remaining two winners.

  1. Select Rewards from the top navigation bar, then select Rewards > Rewards from the side navigation menu. The Rewards screen is displayed.

  2. Search for and select the desired Reward (see Search for a Reward for more information on the available search options). The Reward Details screen is displayed, with the Definition tab selected by default.

  3. Within the Definition tab, click the Prizes section to expand it.

  4. From the drop-down menu in the Action column, select Pick Winners for Me.

The platform randomly selects the winner(s) from among the pool of eligible Members. A “Picking Winners” label is displayed within the Prize summary on the Definition tab while the platform performs this process. This process can take a few minutes to complete. You may need to refresh the screen to see the results displayed within the Prize summary.

Pick Winners for All Prizes

Instead of picking the winner(s) for only one Prize as described above, you can have the platform randomly select the winner(s) of all Prizes defined for this Contest.

  1. Select Rewards from the top navigation bar, then select Rewards > Rewards from the side navigation menu. The Rewards screen is displayed.

  2. Search for and select the desired Reward (see Search for a Reward for more information on the available search options). The Reward Details screen is displayed, with the Definition tab selected by default.

  3. Within the Definition tab, click the Prizes section to expand it.

  4. Click Pick All Winners for Me.

The platform randomly selects the winner(s) from among the pool of eligible Members. A “Picking Winners” label is displayed within the Prize summary on the Definition tab while the platform performs this process. This process can take a few minutes to complete. You may need to refresh the screen to see the results displayed within the Prize summary.
